MangaNEXT Welcomes Akino Kondoh

MangaNEXT is  pleased to announced Akino Kondoh as the official Guest of Honor this year. Kondoh-san is a legendary illustrator, cartoonist and manga artist, whose works spans years of independent art. Her beautiful drawings have been used for the cover and insert art of John Zom's - The Goddess: Music for the Ancient of Days CD and is currently being published in English in the AX Anthology. She has been featured in multiple international exhibitions and has received many awards, including the 2003 '7th Media Arts Festival Award in the Manga Division Jury Recommended Work'.

We are very please to announce a stellar addition to our fantastic list of guests. in the person of M. Alice LeGrow! She is the author of Bizenghast; one of TokyoPop's all-time best selling manga series. Her work is known internationally. She is a talented freelance artist, clothing designer and author. We are elated to welcome her as a featured guest.

MangaNEXT Welcomes Juri Hayasaka

Our entire staff is excited that our very own Juri Hayasaka, will be a featured artist at MangaNEXT 2010! This year, Juri won the AnimeNEXT T-shirt design contest. Her work was so well received, that we sold out of every shirt we had (some unlucky staff members are still mad about that!). She is a working, professional illustrator, who's artistry has been featured in video games. She's a very talented artist and super nice person. We are proud to feature 'Juri H' at this year's show!
